By What’s more interesting about this question is that the answer is different for everyone. For some it just means a person is looking for advice, or to find a support group, while for others it means that the person is interested in connecting with others who are as similar as themselves.
What’s more interesting is that when you’re on Facebook without the need to post anything, you still have to do a lot of digging to find out what they are up to. Most people tend to be more interested in connecting with other people, so I’m not sure what the other answer is.
The problem with people who have no idea what they’re doing is that they usually don’t seem to notice when they are doing something or doing something that they never thought they should do. The same goes for people who have no idea what they’re doing, unless they are making some sort of new point or setting a new pattern.
Im not sure how to even put pm on the site, but it seems that there is a “do not pm” flag that can be set.
There is a do not pm flag which can be set. I think it is easy to miss when you are going through the do not pm page, so I dont think we should remove any of the do not pm links.
There you go. You can now set and forget about the “pm” function on facebook. I’m sure that the people who have their facebook set to “do not pm” won’t notice anyway, but you should still be able to take advantage of this function.
It’s important to note that we don’t actually control the people who have their facebook set to do not pm. Facebook is not a “we are here to get your facebook friends” type of site. Facebook just happens to be one of the biggest sources of internet traffic on the entire planet. We’re just a small part of that. The do not pm function is a tool that lets you set and forget about an option to not show your friends your friend updates.
If your friends are on facebook, and you want them to know they are still alive, you can set the settings to not show your friend your friend updates. But this will only be effective 10% of the time. Your friends will only update in response to your updates. You should use this feature wisely though. If you’re a friend of friend and you want to communicate, and you can, then use this feature to get rid of your friend.
This is why I have a Facebook Page. I use this feature to keep our social circles in sync, and because I am a Facebook administrator.
