It’s not even an issue that our friends and family know about it. We are so transparent that we’re embarrassed about our online persona and it is easy to slip in to our online identity. I don’t know about you, but I am not the type to hide behind a screen. For most of my life, I’ve been an avid Instagram user.
But then I moved to LA and I started using Snapchat, which is a more discreet and, dare I say, less revealing platform. Most people don’t know they are on it unless they have been there at work and noticed the door open or something.
Snapchat has a whole new generation of users, but it also has some of its own problems. Some of their own users are getting frustrated with their privacy settings being constantly reset. Some of the major complaints are that you can send photos/videos with your real name and not worry that you will be tagged in the photos/videos. It doesn’t seem to work for all people, though, so a lot of people are sending pictures/videos from their phones with false names.
A lot of people are using some form of contactless contact to contact the website, but that’s not really a problem for me. I was just wondering if there any other possible way to handle this problem.
You can turn on or off the “auto-tag” feature that makes it impossible to send photosvideos with a false name. You can also turn off the “re-send” feature that will send all the photosvideos in the photo album to the contact you shared with, but I don’t know about the rest of you.
To clarify, we don’t think this will be a problem for most people. People tend to be pretty paranoid about privacy, so we feel that the auto-tag feature is a fairly minor inconvenience, and the re-send feature is more of a nuisance for most people.
It’s a nice change from using a default name in a text box. I mean there is no way that someone could add this to the body text. I know, it’s not like you can put any photosfiles in it. It’s just a small tweak.
The’re-send’ feature is similar in that it does not add a photo to the body text, which is cool, because the text comes into its own field. It’s like the’re-send’ feature does not provide a way to change the body text so that it is not included in the body text anyway. The re-send feature simply creates an extra field in the body text that is not the photo field which is a photo field.
I’m still not sure how it works yet, but the re-send feature is likely just a way to send a photo in your photo gallery. I’m not sure how they would know to put a photo in the body text field, but that is the only way it would be possible to send a photo.
The re-send feature is definitely a good feature, and one that I am looking forward to even more than it already is. The re-send feature would also be useful if the body text field could be used for other purposes, like attaching a sticker or a coupon. These other features are already implemented in most of our apps, so there is no reason they can’t be in the iPhone app too.
