I have had a really bad habit of not sharing things to my facebook page because I like to be private and not have friends and family get my news. It is so easy to hide in the shadows of your social media account and not share things because you don’t want to be wrong.
I am sure many of you understand that your privacy is your most valuable resource. We all have the right to protect what we say or do from the people who can hurt us or our loved ones. Even so, it is a shame to hide things when you are afraid of what others are going to do, be offended by what you hear, or feel is wrong.
Like most of our privacy settings, our privacy settings are so easy to accidentally turn off. This is because we have so many options for privacy settings with which we are all constantly confused. It is one of the biggest reasons why we should try to get to know our privacy settings and make sure they are actually useful rather than just a fad.
I understand that some of our privacy settings are set in the “default” way and we can change them to something better, but it is still important to make sure that whatever we choose is something we actually use. For example, we should set a “share this photo” option, because someone could upload a photo and share it with us on Facebook, but we should not post it on Facebook or even say “This photo is already private.
We should set up a Facebook and Instagram account so we can share our stories on both accounts, but we should only share them on Facebook. That way it’s not possible for someone to upload a photo on Facebook and then share it on Instagram, which could then get posted on Facebook and then get shared on Instagram.
This is sort of a problem with Instagram; it has a lot of things on Instagram that aren’t on Facebook. For instance, Instagram has filters that only work on Instagram. Facebook has filters that only work on Facebook, but Instagram has filters that only work on Instagram. So while we can share a photo on Instagram by uploading it to Facebook, we can’t do the same thing with Facebook or Instagram.
Instagram also has a lot of things on it, like the same filters that Facebook has, which means that a photo of someone’s birthday may end up on one of those two platforms. But if you’re on Facebook, Facebook can see the photo, and Instagram can’t.

I had two of my friends who were in the same situation, with no memory of what happened on the island, or who had no memory of what happened on the island. So if they were in the same situation and no memory of what happened on the island, they would also have been on the island.
