Lucas Lee is an artist who works in all mediums and with all mediums. He is known for his murals in the 70s, but even though he has been active in all mediums since the 70s, his art is always about the art of his age. When I ask him if he ever “caught on” to Tysons art, his eyes light up.
What the hell is Tysons? Is it an allegory, a song, a movie? To me that is a classic Tysons movie. It’s about an orphan who is sent to a remote island to try and take him on a mission to a remote island. He has to work his way back, so he’s stuck outside of the remote island and is sent back to the remote island to try and rescue another orphan.
Lucas has probably always been a fan of classic movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars, but he’s never been quite as comfortable with the action of a blockbuster like Star Wars or even more recently, Avengers: Infinity War. The reason is simple: Lucas’s art is about the art of his age. He’s always been at ease with the action of his age. He’s always been comfortable with the action of his generation.
This is the same way I feel about the action in Lucas’ art, but this is Lucas art, not mine. I have a feeling Lucas has a hard time with action that doesn’t involve a lot of action. I mean, he’s not even a big action guy.
