This is a great post. I love the way you made this about emotions. I know for both of us, we both struggle with self-awareness and how to handle it in our own ways. We also both struggle with the ways we feel and how we express our feelings. It is so true that we are the most important people in our lives, and we should strive to be aware of our emotions.
